Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Packlech collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It is part of our Terms & Conditions.
What we collect
- Listings (Senders): the route, timing, package size, offered pay, description, and the contact phone number you enter, plus a hashed copy of your 4-digit PIN. Senders do not need an account.
- Driver accounts: your email address, the sign-in codes we send (stored only as a short-lived hash), which listings you have unlocked, your unlock and pass balance, and your subscription status.
- Payments: a record that a payment was made (product, amount, date, and Stripe reference). Card details go directly to Stripe. We never see or store them.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs kept by our hosting provider. Your browser also stores small items locally (for example your sign-in session and which disclaimers you accepted).
Who sees a listing
A listing’s route, size, timing, and offered pay are public on the board. The description and the sender’s phone number are shown to Drivers who unlock the listing, or to everyone during times the board is made free. Do not put anything in a listing you would not want a Driver to see.
Email sign-in
Drivers sign in with their email address. We email a one-time code to confirm it is you. There is no password. Codes expire after a few minutes.
How we use information
We use it only to run the board: to show and review listings, sign Drivers in, apply unlocks, passes, subscriptions, and Featured listings, prevent abuse, and answer support requests. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We share only what is needed with the providers that run the Service: our hosting provider (Netlify), our payment processor (Stripe), and our email provider for sign-in codes (Resend).
Retention and your choices
Senders can mark listings done or delete them anytime in "My listings" with their phone number and PIN. Drivers can sign out anytime and can ask us to delete their account and data by emailing us. We may keep payment records where the law requires.
Children
Packlech is for adults 18 and over and is not directed at children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
